The Trains

A train operated by a Norwegian-American engineer starts from Minneapolis to 
Chicago just as a train with a drunken engineer leaves Chicago for Minneapolis. 
There is only one track, no switches or siding, yet the trains do not collide. 
Why? ... Because:
